6 Months and Halloween:)

Tyson turned 6 months old last Friday! He is such a big boy now. He is starting to sit up by himself. He cannot crawl but can scoot backwards and twist and turn and will end up all over the floor. He is grabbing, pulling and into everything he can get his hands on....so much fun but so active:)

Look I can sit up:)

Poor thing has been sick for about 3 weeks with a cold and ear infection but is finally feeling better.

We had a fun Halloween. Halloween morning Marc and I did the YMCA 5K. Then we spent Halloween night with our friends Stacy and John David and their 1 month old John Wilder and Katie, Matt and Luke Humphreys.

October Fun:)

Wow! This has been a busy month already! Seems to be so much going on:) Tyson is such a little boy now! We went to the doctor yesterday because he has an ear infection...luckily it was minor. He weighs almost 17 pounds. He is so strong and active all the time! He can slide all over the floor. He is not crawling yet but will twist and turn until he gets what he wants. His sweet personality seems to get better and better everyday! He laughs and smiles constantly:)

Oct 2nd Tyson went to his first football game. We went to Philadelphia Homecoming to watch his big Cousin Makenzie cheer. He loved the game because there was so much to look at!

My Birthday was October 6th and thanks to Marc, Family, friends and my sweet class I had a great birthday week! It started with lunch with my family on Sunday, Tuesday-suprise party from kids, cupcakes sent to school from Marc's mom and sister, dinner with Marc and Tyson and Wednesday-dinner with Friends. I love birthday week! I seriously had 5 cakes! Everyone knows to me it is not a birthday without cake:)

Marc and Tyson did great on all my Birthday presents!

We took Tyson to his first MSU football game on Oct 10th. He went with us to cheer on the Bulldogs against Georgia. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun. Tyson did great all day. We watched the walk through, the drum line and tailgated. However, when we got in the stadium and everyone started cheering his sweet bottom lip came out and he started screaming. It was funny. He could not take the cowbells and screaming of the fans. If you have been to a MSU game this year I think you will agree it is Loud...even louder than the past--Great Atmosphere! He was fine when we moved and sat in front of the stadium on the cement area. I guess the cowbells in his ears was just a little much:)

So many new fun pics to share...I decided to just make a slide show:)

5 months and Slept through the night!!!

Tyson turned 5 months old on Wednesday! He is changing so fast everyday! He is rolling and sliding around every where and really wants to sit up. We call it "6 inches." When he is laying flat he will lift his head and legs and hold them trying to get up. He should have abs of steel! His little back is getting so strong with very little support he can sit up. He trys to hold his bottle and loves eating his fruit:) Tyson has the best personality. He laughs and smiles all the time!

October is here and it has been exciting already....first of all the weather is great! Then it is our first Holiday and for those of you that know me...I love holidays:) On October 1st Tyson wore his pumpkin bib to daycare and slept in his Halloween PJs:) Marc told Tyson that I only wanted him so I could play dress up! That is not true, but I have to admit I was pretty excited to pull out the Fall gear:) Also on October 1st, Tyson slept through the night!! He had slept 6, 6 1/2 and even 7 hours one time but to Marc and I this was not sleeping through the night because we still had to get up between 3-4 to feed him. However last night Tyson went to sleep at 9:30pm and at 6:30am I had to wake him up to get him dressed for daycare! 9 hours!! You would have thought it was Christmas Morning. Marc and I were so excited we both went in there to check on him when we woke up:) I think there was even a few High 5's and we are not morning people:) I think it was his Halloween PJs, so he will be wearing these every night..ha!

We are taking Tyson to the MSU football game this weekend so more pics coming soon:)

Baby Dedication, 4 month check up, and more:)

A lot has happen since my last post...about two weeks ago Tyson started throwing up and we ended up taking him to the doctor because he would not take his bottles or Pedialyte. They just said he had the stomach bug. Poor thing second time to have the stomach bug and he is just 4 months old. He was sick for a couple of days and then finally got better:)

A week ago, Tyson had his 4 month checkup. He weighed 14 lbs and 8 ounces and was 25 1/2 inches long. His doctor said he looked great:)

Then last Thursday, I left Marc and Tyson home alone! I had my first girls trip since Tyson. A good friend of mine, that I teach with, got married at Seagrove and several of my teacher friends and I went. It was really hard to leave Tyson and I missed him badly but I think it was good for me:) We had a great trip! Marc was dad of the year while I was gone. His family was sweet to help out by picking Tyson up at Daycare and keeping him while Marc was at work but then the rest of the weekend Marc had him by himself. He did wonderful...I came home to a clean house, clean laundry, clean bottles, he took Tyson to church at 8:00 and went to the Grocery store! Wow, I was impresssed!

This Thursday night, Sept 17th was Baby Dedication at Pinelake. It was a very sweet service! Our family and some friends were there to help us celebrate! Here are some pics from the Dedication.

Time to start Fruits!! Tyson ate his first fruits last night. We started with Pears...no idea where to start but sounded like a good one:) He was not sure what to think about it but he got use to it and did even better today! How much fun is the scooping the remains off his face and then shoving it in again..ha!

Tyson has mastered rolling over! He had rolled over a couple of times here and there since 3 months but this weekend he was a rolling machine! He will now go after toys he wants to play with and grab them! We have so much watching him grow and change every day:)

In my last post I mentioned our pics Amy Johnson took..here are a couple of the pics. The rest are on her website.
