2007

2007 was a great year! We rang in the New Year in Tahoe. Some other Highlights of the year were-In March, Marc and I ran the Seaside Half Marathon and then in April I ran the Nashville Half Marathon with my friend Suzanne. Later in March, Marc and I celebrated his first spring break as a college kid:) We spend most of the week with my family in Philadelphia. It was great! My nieces were at my moms most of the week and we went fishing, rode horses, rode 4 wheelers...had the best relaxing week. We also enjoyed the fine cooking of Chef Mom:) Now that is a vacation!

Of Course, July 8th we celebrated our 1 year anniversary We were busy packing for our trip which was our anniversary present of course:) But we stopped to celebrate.... We watched the wedding video, ate our wedding cake-which tasted not so great after 1 year, and watched our 1 year video I made for Marc. We also went to Amerigos to eat since this is where he took me on our first date. Then we packed up for Europe and headed out the next day....... We spent the first 2 weeks traveling through Rome; Venice; Florence; Cinque Terre (Italian Riveria); Lucern and Bern Switzerland, and Paris. We then spent 2 weeks in London while Marc took classes. We were able to stay with Marc's friend Brad for most of the 2 weeks. I even missed my very first Neshoba County Fair! It was worth it:) It was the best summer ever. I still can't believe how blessed we are to get to see and do as much as we did. We returned to Jackson on a Sunday night and I started back to work on Monday...not so much fun-H
a!

The rest of 2007 was very busy with Marc's school and me teaching, tutoring and teaching online classes. But of course we made time to go to all the MSU football games and we celebrated my birthday...want even say the age by Tailgating in Starkville then Marc surprised with dinner at Anthony's in West Point and we spent a night in Starkville. Lots of fun..I had not been to Anthony's since college so it brought back some memories. We spent most of our Friday nights in the Fall at Philly High Football games. This is my Nephew Ethan's Senior year so we went to cheer him on. He had a great season!

Christmas was wonderful with both of our families and then Marc's Family took us to Disney World on December 27th. The McCarvers also went with us. We had a blast all acting like kids!! We rode every ride several times and chimed in the New Year at Epcot! So much fun!
