The Best Week Ever!

The week started last Monday- Wednesday (Feb 23-25) with Marc taking the Bar. He felt pretty good about it but of course we will not know anything until mid April. He worked hard and I think all of his hard work paid off!!! Then Thursday, Marc received a phone call from Brunini Law firm where he clerked at Christmas and they offered him a job! What an answered prayer and perfect timing! He will start late May or early June. Thanks so much to all of our friends and family who has been praying for us:) Marc said he could really feel the prayers:) We went out to Ely's with some friends for Dinner last Friday night to celebrate!

Then this past Saturday, I had a baby shower. My sweet friends Jennifer, Katie, Stacy, Kristin, Mandy, Chrissy, Suzanne and Kristi hosted us a baby shower at Mandy Oliphant's house. We received so many amazing gifts and so many of my sweet friends took time from their busy day to come to the shower. It meant the world to me!

Here is one pic of the day..more coming soon when I charge my camera:)

31 Weeks in this pic:)
Then this Monday, March 2nd Marc and I went to the doctor for our 32 week checkup and had another sonogram. Baby Bryant looks great! She checked everything and everything was Normal. We have decided "Normal" is one of our favorite words. Each time she said it it sounded great! He is in the correct position and weighs 4 pounds. He is still right on schedule to arrive around April 28th. She said it looked like he would be about a 7 pound baby....that sounds good to me:) I keep having this part of his body stick out near my belly button and it was so neat to see on the sonogram that it is his back. When he stretches and moves it pushes my stomach out..how crazy! God is so good and I love experiencing his miracle every day!

This past Tuesday, March 3rd I went to a breast feeding class and Thursday night even though I was not feeling great Marc and I went to our first Child Birth Class. We are learning a lot:) It is all a little overwhelming but it is fun to learn! When she said I should start packing my bags...now that made me a little nervous.

Since then I have been a little under the weather but starting to feel better finally today. Marc has been a great doctor taking care of me. I think he took my temp every 5 minutes yesterday and counted how many bottles of water I drank...ha! It is hard for me to rest and I even missed 2 days of school and the State writing test is next week.....so if you know me well...that is evidence that I really was sick:) Today Marc finally left my side and is serving with our Small group in downtown Jackson. I hate I missed it but Baby Bryant and I are still laying in the bed trying to recover:)
