Wow! I love summer and it is going by way to quickly! Since I last posted we took Tyson back to the doctor and he now weighs 8 pounds and 12 ounces. They did not measure him this time but I would guess he has grown..he is so long and skinny!
Last week, I taught 2nd grade VBS at Pinelake with some of my friends. Marc's sister, Celeste, kept Tyson the first two days and then my mom came the last 3 days. It was a great week! I loved getting out for a little while each day but glad it is not time to go back to work. I have 7 more weeks and I hope they go by slowly!! I love being with Tyson everyday! He is such a joy:)
This weekend Tyson and I went to his big Cousin Makenzie's birthday party. Tyson loves a party and has been to several to only be 6 weeks old. I put on his bathing suit for the pool party even though the pants are way to big and of course he did not get in the pool but I did dip his toes in there...he wasn't sure what was going on.
In the last week, Tyson has started changing so much. He is so alert and looking around all the time with his pretty blue eyes. (hope his eyes stay blue-- this is the only thing that he has of mine..ha:) He also started sleeping in his Baby Bed. He had been sleeping in a bassinet in our room but I knew it was time to move him when his legs were hanging out of the bassinet one night. He moves so much at night he had slid down and his feet were hanging out the side!
The swing that changed our life..ha! Everyone had told me that the Papasan Cradle swing was the best thing ever and we received it as a gift but had left it on the carport until last week. We had a little travel swing that was small but Tyson was not a huge fan, so we decided to open up the other swing that I wanted to take back and Marc wanted to keep...so Marc was right. Tyson loves his new swing and it is great for naps!! We are excited. It is amazing the little things that excites us no

We have that same swing!!! It is a lifesaver...or atleast gave me 20 minutes to unload the dishwasher LOL. I used to not even buckle AT in but those days are over now that she is rolling over!
So glad I found your blog! Tyson is such a cutie and I know you're enjoying every minute of being his Momma. Great to see you last week!
